The resource of our country inland water transportation is abundant. After more than 50 years construction, the system of inland river navigation which takes Yangtze River, Zhujiang River, Huaihe River and Heilongjiang River as the backbone has been formed primarily. Heilongjiang River water system includes Heilongjiang River, Songhuajiang River, Nen River, Wusuli River, Xingkai Lake, Jingbo Lak, et al. The total distance of navigable waterway is 5057 km, which mainly be served for 1000t barges.Heilongjiang River water system includes 15 external harbors, like Harbin, Jiamusi, Heihe, Tongjiang, Fuyuan, et al, which get the import and export mission of boundary trade, external trade and combined river and ocean navigation between China and Russia. There are 185 permanent berths in the water system at present, which mostly use the gravity type structure, a few of them use pile foundation type and buttress type.During the period of twentieth five years, Heilongjiang River water system will accelerate the foundation facility structure of external ports nearby river and combined river and ocean ports, improve the level of high technique facility and pass-by capability, change the phenomena of the shortcoming at present. It will give many favorable conditions for China-Russia trade and combined river and ocean navigation. So it is necessary to do more research for key technique of port structure in Heilongjiang River water system, which may reach the purpose of concluding experiences, avoiding engineering risk, optimizing design scheme, saving engineering investment, accelerating structure process, et al.This thesis is based on Heixiazi Island Port structure engineering in Heilongjiang water system, is focused on the research of gravity wharf structure. According to the natural condition and managing requirement, it do many works on the research of design, calculation and optimization for the base breadth, cantilever length and position of unload baring board, which applies the present theory of soil pressure calculation and calculation method of harbor engineering structure, and combines the design software of harbor engineering. The key of this research includes choice and optimization of wharf structure type, structural strength calculation, structure stability analysis. It gives the primary conclusion of gravity wharf optimization. According to the construction engineering of Jiayin wharf in Heilongjiang River water system, it can validate the conclusion of this investigation.This thesis has solved the problems of technique feasibility and economy rationality of Heixiazi Island harbor engineering. The obtained wharf structure type can be widely applied for the offshore port at Heilongjiang River and Songhuajiang River in Heilongjiang River water system. It also gives some references for other inland harbor construction in Heilongjiang River water system.
