With increasing demands that the cycle of shipbuilding should become shorter and shorter, the module technology has gradually become the mainstream of shipbuilding. It is not only convenient for ship to maintain, but also beneficial to reconfigurate ship and to research new type of ship. The shock-resistant cabin module studied in this paper, part of the ship Modules, is not only can meet the needs of function of module, but also is qualified to resist the shock to some extent, furthermore, it would probably be the target of navy ordnance investigation in the future. Therefore, the paper proceeds as follow. The modular cabin is preliminary designed and the effects of the various parts of cabin to its natural frequency are studied. Cabin structure is optimized to improve its rigidity. The related cabin drawings have been made. The transient vibration equation of motion based on "mass-spring" system is deduced, and computer programming is designed to calculate the displacement response curve of cabin under BV shock load to verify the accuracy of finite element software.Vibration isolation devices are installed to verify whether they are conductive to improve the ability of impact-resistance, and it is calculated that the cabin fitted three vibrations isolation system is under shock. The response characteristics of cabin under the simulated non-contact underwater explosion is analyzed, from the source of shockwave which caused the main response of cabin, the lifting of the installation is proposed, and demonstrate that the installation could contribute to the improvement of the cabin shock-resistance ability.According to the safety limits of human shock, the personnel damage curve of XXX ship with and without the modular cabin is drawn.
