Along with the rapid development of community economic & technology and industry , highway business continues to flourish. As one of modern transport infrastructure and important transportation channel, the operation efficiency of the highway plays a significant insurance role to the social and economic developing speed. The rapid developing of highway has made great contribution for the economy of the society. At the same time, the traffic accident number increases sharply. Especially, the traffic accident mortality rate is much higher compared with the developed country. The design-supporting system for highway emergency rescue can reduce the percentage of death in traffic accident and prevent secondary traffic accident. It's significant to study on the design-supporting system for highway emergency rescue.At first, the paper absorbs the experience of foreign highway emergency rescue system, based on the demand analysis of the highway rescue work, researched system structure, the database and the core functional module and proposed the structure three formations based on C/S. The system database which are contained he accident, the path, the environment three aspects, based on database has designed including the rescue resource analysis, the rescue scheduling of resources, the transportation information issue 7 major function modules.Following, studied the three main technologies which are the course pile localization technology and resource search technology and the optimal choice plan technology. The course pile localization technology deal with the accident alarm point localization question, the resources search technology can find some rescue resource at accident certain scope , the optimal choice plan technology provides the optimal path for the emergency recovery vehicles' most superior dispatch.At last, with the related theory and on the spot research, design the design-supporting system for highway emergency rescue in Yangtze Delta Region and some problems are put forward worthy of deeper study.
