Mountain area microwave station generally on top of the mountain, a lot of them are in lightning activity areas, besides tall tower and large-scale integrated electronic device applications, which make the microwave stations more vulnerable to lightning damage. Meanwhile, high soil resistivity and other serious problems affected the lightning protection and grounding microwave station alteration. This article from the formation mechanism of lightning and its associated characteristics of basis, through the investigation against lightning accidents, expounds the lightning damage forms about mountainous area microwave station, and analyzes of the lightning invasion of the various ways of microwave station, in addition, standing in a microwave pointes out the problems existing in the lightning transformation, and on this basis to put forward the corresponding proposal.In this paper, on the basis of a mountain area microwave station scene investiga-tion and test, through the analysis and research, account that the protective measures in the power system, the signal system of protective measures and the design of grounding grids, there are some problems. Power system performance in the power cable lack of shielding, isolation transformer protection is not strong enough, and lack of correct room power system level three-lightning protection measures; The per-formance of the signal system problems such as the antenna feeder signal cable shielding and grounding is not properly, microwave room equipment grounded and equipotential bonging is imperfect; Grounding grid problem is not true measurement of grounding resistance, grounding resistance overweight, grounding design and lay-out is unreasonable and so on.Aiming at such problems in lightning protection and grounding of this micro-wave, puts forward the comprehensive reform scheme in power system, signal system, and in grounding grid. Power system is mainly enhance power cable shielding meas-ures, the isolated transformer secondary installed lightning arrester and the micro-wave room to install the three power system lightning protection; Signal system is to enhance the shielding of such as the antenna feeder signal cable and multi-point grounding, standard room equipment grounding and re-equipotential bonding; Re-laying of microwave station grounding grid, re-measure the grounding resistance, by extension reduce the grounding resistance of grounding grid. This paper tries to through the above measures, to a comprehensive, systematic and effective completion of the task of transformation of microwave station lightning protection and grounding to reduce lightning damage caused by the loss of microwave station.Finally, microwave station on the mountain lightning protection and grounding techniques are summarized, the relevant problems existing in the research is also pre-sented, and hope that through the research in this paper about mountain area micro-wave station for lightning protection and grounding technology to provide a reference value and reference.
