The developing trend of the Avionics system is from the combined structure to the integrated system development which is one of the research hotspots in avionics system. It has several characteristics such as the open system structure, integrated, modular, universal design etc. At present, we have already realized the resource sharing instead of the integrated from the various sbusystems as well as the integrated of the cockpit and display along with the development of computer and digital signal processing technology. RF sensors are being integrated to the system development.We can better achieve the fusion of the sensor information through the implementation of the integrated sensor, also lay the foundation for the integrated system.Communication navigation identification system is composed of multiple RF sensors which provide timely and accurate information and battlefield information on plane to the pilot. By the integrated design of the sensor ,can we reduce the type and quantity of the equipment and the maintenance costs, also improve the system reliability. The CNI system covers a wide field and the sensor has various functions which is the main work content of the integrated RF sensors. Both of the UHF communication and the instrument landing system have achieved the audio/data link communication and navigation for aircraft landing function, safe flight security which is an important component of the CNI system.Because of the similar of these two working frequency we have the favorable factors to integrated design. Through this, we can further realize the system integrated design of the foundation. Based on the developed integrated design method, this paper firstly worked on the basic theory of the integrated design and analysed the contrast of the different ways to realize the integrated. At last we proposed one method to realize the UHF communication and the instrument landing function which based on one kind of integrated design.By describing the UHF communication function and the instrument landing function, we analyzed the main applications and performance. We analyzed the feasibility of the above two functions and put forward a system architecture for the integrated design. We not only discussed the principle and described the workflow including both the software and the hardware resources.The key to success is the integrated design of RF front-end. Firstly, we introduced the main technology index of receiving channel. Then analysed the key technology in RF front-end design and put forward some solving measures. At last, we tested the function of the system and verified the feasibility of the system design.Up to now, the integrated avionics system is still in the initial stage in China. But with the acceleration of the integrated avionics system design work , it has great sense to the new generation of aircraft development.
