More than a century, the rapid development of automobile industry in various countries to promote economic prosperity, but also promoted the metallurgy, electronics and machinery manufacturing industry's progress. The rapid growth of automobile production, people's travel and contacts brought great convenience. Also led the service, tourism and financial and insurance industries. However, increasing the number of cars has also brought the frequent occurrence of traffic accidents, the traffic safety has become a major social problem. In order to let the car can travel more safty, there have been many new electronic systems such as ABS, ASR, TCS, EPS, etc. The application of electronic technology, which greatly improved the safety performance of vehicles, arises the new problems. The vehicle with higher degree of automation has the more complex systems, and fault diagnosis and repair of motor vehicles is also more difficult. Therefore, when the developers in the effort to design a safe and stable vehicle electronic control systems, they also begun to focus on electronic control system fault diagnosis technology research and development.Anti-lock brake control system is based on the traditional braking system, ABS pressure control system through the additional construction made use of intelligent control technology, regulation imposed on the braking force of each wheel to prevent wheel lock. Full use of road adhesion, shorten braking distances, as much as possible to avoid traffic accidents. The practical application shows that the system for its superior performance as a modern car standard, so the ABS system fault diagnosis is of great practical significance and application value.Currently, ABS fault diagnosis method can be divided into diagnostic methods based on quantitative models, qualitative model-based diagnostic methods and diagnostic methods based on data-driven. Based on quantitative and qualitative model-based diagnostic methods only get a good diagnosis on the basis of an accurate system model, and difficult to deal with the failure of complex systems. Therefore, to address the problem, this paper attempts to based on support vector machines to solve complex nonlinear dynamic model of the build issues, in order to prove that based on support vector machines for fault diagnosis is feasible. The thesis based on the anti-lock braking system control, take use of simulation and modeling software to make the brake actuator and sensor failure fault simulation model. By the Application of the algorithm based on support vector machines, and fault diagnosis simulation system through simulation analysis, the simulation results show that vehicle ABS system is based on support vector machine fault diagnosis is reasonably practicable, correct and effective use of diagnostic strategies.
