In recent years, because of great decorative performance, processing performance, excellent physical and chemical properties of large-scale industrial construction and other fine features, porcelain tiles are widely used in interior decoration fields. In this paper, taking porcelain tile as the research object, the application of principles and methods of porcelain tile are discussed from the scale, color, texture and texture, pattern, starting with the patterns of ceramic tile with the combination of the oretical analysis and empirical case of engineering.Porcelain tile size influences the composition of space in interior decoration. Therefore, the proportion of porcelain size can be used to make accurate dividing line so as to be more harmonious and artistry.The color of porcelain tiles influences the color blending in interior decoration. Porcelain polishing tiles are mainly designed in light color, while porcelain glaze tiles are in deep color. The color of porcelain tiles influences the atmosphere, style, and people's feeling of staying inside.Generally speaking, porcelain tiles can be sorted as natural texture and artificial texture. Natural texture porcelain tiles are made and processed by raw materials, and can even be on a par with the raw materials. Natural texture porcelain tiles are processed by CNC, and can create layers effect.The ceramic brick pattern made by glazing and firing, using combined method of undigraph, digraph and modular designs of second consecutive combination type, embodying artistic quality and practical combination of patterns, marking and conveying the information, making a space form topical, emphasizing the effect of symbolic space and interface adornment.
