Metal corrosion phenomenon is very common, the economic loss brought from him is very great in the national economy, it is the most serious and obvious one in the material corrosion. Therefore, many countries are actively engaged in science research,search for the method of prevention corrosion from the theory and Practice.Automobile corrosion damage is the most widespread phenomenon in the automobile, The replacement because of the corrosion of various parts and body is wasting a lot of material resources, human resources and energy resources, repairing body will pollute the environment too. As parst loss of function beause of the corrosion, may lead automobile happened traffic accident, the life and property of people under threat. In recent years, China's automobile industry development is very rapid, the retains quantity of car increases Constantly in society, so that variety measures of automotive anti-corrosion becomes more and more important, the economic benefit and social benefit are more and more obvious.The coating protects the object to be coated is not affected by corrosion, frequently exposed to various corrosive environment, is derived from natural and industrial corrosion medium erosion, auto reinforcement corrosion test and salt spray test can accelerate the automobile body and parts subjected to corrosion rate, in the design and production, these tests can examine and verify the car durability and corrosion resistance, to predict the automobile corrosion resistance performance of the weak links, so that from the design source protective measures to improve vehicle's corrosion resistance.Automobile body is the body of the coating anticorrosion measures, including electrophoresis, coating, paint, coating and topcoat on which the appearance of the car decorative effect plays a decisive role. While the body in coating pretreatment and electrophoresis status is also important. Pre treatment on the coating quality plays a decisive role, give full play to the function of the coating anticorrosion of premise condition; electrophoresis paint film quality is good or bad, directly determines the body anti corrosion performance, that determines the vehicle anti corrosion performance.Electrophoresis coating application in automobiles has a history of over 30 years, it is the metal coating method of automotive industry fastest growing and fastest technology to update, At present, the primer of the most automobile bodywork use the coating method of the cathodic electrophoretic, because the the coating equipment of cathode electrophoretic is complex structure and high technical requirements, electrophoresis process control parameters, control and management of these parameters is difficult, so the company has been the electrophoresis process as the key quality process in workshop. Electrophoresis process control parameters directly affects the quality of the electrophoretic film, which affects the automobile anti corrosion performance.This paper analyzed from several aspects of the automobile corrosion status, in corrosion theory based on the cause of corrosion, and from the design, materials, manufacturing is put forward to solve measure.. Introduced car reinforcement corrosion test and body panels of salt spray test, the automobile coating process in pretreatment and electrophoresis process were introduced, at the same time analysis the actual situation for process of the pretreatment and electrophoresis production line of SAIC-GM-Wuling automobile company painting workshop , analyzes the common quality defects of electrophoresis occurrence cause and countermeasure, Board foaming in salt fog test were analyzed, tesed and solved.This paper targets: master car body corrosion phenomenon; find the solution to the problem, improve body corrosion resistance, to ensure that the body panels of salt spray test 100% qualified.
