The development level of medical equipment plays a vital role in a country’s medical and health undertakings,as well as an important part of improving people’s living standards.However,most of the inspection equipment used in domestic hospitals is purchased from abroad,which is expensive and inconvenient to maintain later.In this paper,through the core technology of capillary electrophoresis instrument research and development,a test instrument and the buffer suitable for the instrument can be used to screen thalassemia,break the situation that related instruments and reagents have been monopolized by foreign enterprises,and inject a force for the development of domestic medical instruments.Firstly,the mechanical structure of the capillary electrophoresis apparatus is constructed.Based on the principle of capillary electrophoresis and the pathogenic characteristics of thalassaemia,the design of the instrument was proposed,and the mechanical structure of the instrument was modeled by using 3D drawing software.Secondly,the control system of capillary electrophoresis instrument is designed.With STM32F407 as the main control device,PID algorithm is used to feedback control the cooling fan,PWM wave is used to control the stepper motor of the cup shifting system,the high voltage power supply is used to realize the output of 0 ~50kV DC voltage,and the Gaussian filter in image processing technology is used to optimize the electrophoresis image data collected by CCD camera.The user interface of capillary electrophoresis was developed using Qt software.Then,the experimental conditions of the capillary electrophoresis apparatus were optimized.This paper mainly includes capillary diameter,light source selection,electrophoretic voltage,sample size and buffer p H,and puts forward a solution to the problem of capillary clogging.Finally,the capillary electrophoresis buffer was developed through the experiment,and the gene detection was the gold standard for the electrophoresis of adult blood samples.The results showed that the self-developed capillary electrophoresis apparatus and electrophoresis buffer were effective in the detection of negative blood samples,α-thalassemia blood samples and β-thalassemia blood samples,and had high application value in the screening of beta thalassemia by capillary electrophoresis.
