In order to save energy, improve the engine efficiency and protect environment, more and more strictly emission regulations have been issued and implemented. Therefore, kinds of engine energy-saving technology become the main research subjects of this filed. Common-rail technology used on the diesel engine can largely improve the economical efficiency, shorten the harmful emission, common-rail technology become one of the most important engine electronic-controlled technology. Rapid response solenoid valve controlling is the core technology of common-rail, so rapid response solenoid valve control method is researched is this paper.In order to analyze the relationship between the response of solenoid valve and different capacitance volume, different driven-voltage, a simplified mathematical model is presented in this paper. The analysis result supply theory for matching different valve load with different circuit parameters.On the basis, the hardware and software of the rapid response experiment platform are designed out. The hardware system include boost DC-DC switching power circuit, valve driven-control circuit, current-pick circuit, communication circuit, monitoring interface and crank-pulses generator circuit. on the basis of the hardware, a set of software including driven-control software (language C), monitoring interface software (language Labview) and crank pulses generator software was written to control and monitor the driven process and revise the control parameters.According to the valve driven experiment results, valve inductance 618uH, cap volume 440uF, current pick resistor 10mΩ. yalve turn on delay less than 150us, turn off delay less than 100us, cap voltage drop 5V, meeting the valve response request, another set of driven experiment aiming to three kind valve was carried out on the platform, inductance is 618uH,253uH,259uH respectively, driven voltage 81V, cap volume 440uF. Compare the experimental results and calculating results, results error is 6.6%,8.0%,3.9% respectively.The parameter-matching methods can be used as rapid response valve control system design method.
