China is the largest coal producer in the world, coal accounts for 70% of our energy consumption accordingly. Port plays the main role of bridge between producers and final users of coal, in which transition, storage and processing are finished.Huanghua Port is located in Cangzhou City, Hebei Province, is the second largest channel to the sea of coal transportation route that covers north to south, west to east. It is the head of "Shenhua project" and plays an important role in the national economy, its throughput capacity reach 89 million tons in 2010. In order to improve the competitiveness of enterprises, provide personalized service and improve the customer's satisfaction, Huanghua Port must resolve the quality retrospective and blending problems in order to improve the quality of service in Huanghua Port. This paper presented the coal quality tracking model based on batch management with the combination of production characteristics in Huanghua port. Firstly, this paper describes the precondition of implementation of traceability management. Then studied the batch management methods and models for the port. In the end proposed a model for port cargo tracking on this basis by tracking BOL (batch list),.In order to blending reasonable, a blending model using linear programming method was proposed after analyzing the current program and calculate the optimal blending ratio using computers. This paper concludes with a retrospective of blending system in Huanghua Port and presents the organization chart, indicating the system implementation and technical support, data collection, in the end illustrate the implementation process with examples and solve current problems in Huanghua Port.
