The Research On Conservation And Renovation Of Industrial Architectural Heritages In Shifeng District, Zhuzhou City

In recent years, because of China's fast growing economic has continuously improved the upgrade of the industrial structure, so that many industrial enterprises can't follow the steps of China's speed. They are hard to escape the fate of their companies'bankruptcy. The industrial heritage carries the memories of the city, which is an important witness of the city's history. This paper is based on the study of the industrial architectural heritage, which is through historical documents and the successful practice of the international and domestic industrial architectural heritage, to analysis and find out the city's industrial architectural heritage significance and the potential value. With the industrial heritage of the investigation of Shifeng District, Zhuzhou City, we want to find the correct direction to protect and re-use the industrial architectural heritages,and follow the steps of China's fast growing speed to upgrade the industrial structure and the protect and re-use work.After a field survey of Shifeng District, Zhuzhou City, it is found that there are many heavy industries which cause very serious problems in Shifeng district. The direction of the conservation was found by the research of the problems and the comparison between China and abroad, which was combined with the survey of Shifeng district. The policy and planning had been put forward, which was against the problems of the conservation and renovation of industrial architectural heritages in Shifeng district. The surroundings of Shifeng district should be fully considered in it. The innovation should be considered comprehensively, and combined with the urban function, not just to copy foreign research achievements blindly. And help Zhuzhou city to find the potential value of the industrial architectural heritages, which would inject new vitality to Zhuzhou city, and promote the upgrading of industrial structure. Finally, using these research achievements, two cases were designed as future reference of the conservation and renovation of industrial architectural heitages.
