Our country has broad land resources , but thinking from population proportion ,we are tight short of land resources. use to in process of using the limited land resources lacking of plan and protection,which obviously lead to more tight short. Due to road designers are light aware of protect land resources in process of road construction ,and construct staff do great damage to temporary using land as well as lacking of saving land resources, which make the problem of saving land resources more emergent.This paper takes the most engineering of jishou to huaihua highway as an living example, and supported by the study of land resource protection and utilization technology in highway construction in western. Firstly,Discusses the increasingly serious land used for highway construction, introduces the understanding about the present form of intensive land use, intensive land use technology and its shortcoming are at home and abroad. intensive land resource of the methods and measures in highway construction are explored by the theoretical and the case analysis combined application. the ideas about intensive land use are putted forward by analyzing the influential factors of intensive land use. the methods selection criteria are proposed through analysis the influences of highway construction standard. intensive land route influencing factors are analysised by Project feasibility stage, preliminary design stage and design construction phase about route choice at highway route process.Characteristics and superiority are analysised by three aspects of alternative engineering, especially, analysis the conditions of replace railway by bridge, and analysis the decision conditions of replace railway by bridge and retaining structure project, considering the fabrication cost, land shadow price case.The main control factors about intensive utilization of land at highway at different area are comed up with by analyzing the characteristics of freeway .Secondly,at this paper, technique measures of saving land reasources are analysed at road selection by JiShou to HuaiHua highway as an living example, take the section as HongShuPo to SanJianTang, WanZhaoCun to HuiYaoDuan and MaJinGao. The application technology of saving use land, about concering replaceable engineering and plane index choose, is analyed by bridge of Yuan River in southern of Hanshou,the section NingYuan to DaoXian of XiaMen to ChengDu highway,SanMing to QuanZhou highway, the section of JiShou to HuaiHua highway and so on living engineerings.This paper,ideas and technology processing measures of intensive land use are putted forward,by analyzing the influential factors of intensive land use on highway construction. at the research of replace railway by bridge, tendencious formula of cost of engineering are get by different standard calculation at roadbed scheme and bridge scheme, in the study of retaining structure engineering plan, condition of boundary policy decision of Roadbed scheme and Retaining structure has been analysed reached by different standards.the specific engineering methods and measures about conservation of land are analysised combined with engineering example, provide technical reference for chinesee for highway construction.
