As an alternative approach of traditional hypodermic injection, needle-free injection technology has many advantages over conventional needle method of injection, such as:painlessness, better treatment effect, convenience, safety, etc. In our country, the research for the needle-free injection technology started lately, fell behind the foreign technology, was still in the development stage. Based on the in-depth analysis of structural characteristics of needle-free injector, a spring-loaded needle-free injector and a pneumatic needle-free injector were shown in this paper, the main research results are as follows:(1) A study of the development and research status of needle-free injector was presented, the mechanics of the needle-free injection was analysed. The design methodology was applied to the design of needle-free injector, and structural design of the needle-free injector was made.(2) Compared to existing needle-free injector, the spring-loaded needle-free injector and a pneumatic needle-free injector, shown in this paper, was easily to operate, low cost.(3) In order to obtain the rapid respond and continue driven-force power system, the theory of impact cylinder was applied to the technology of needle-free injection. The magnetic damping impact cylinder needle-free injector, shown in this paper, has better impact force and injection effect, should be widely applied.(4) The separated ampoule device was easily to operated, low cost, and eliminate the risk of cross infection.(5) The mathematical model and the simulation of the needle-free injetion was presented in this paper, a magnetic test for the permanent magnet in the magnetic damping impact cylinder needle-free injector was made, which may have a practical reference value and theoretical guidance in engineering.
