Study Of The Outdoor Environment Redesign Of Zhu Zhou Qing Shui Tang Old Industrial Buildings

With the approaching of new millennium, the Chinese cities entered the developmental period of their industrial layout, types, structural reconstruction as well as transitions. Either "retreat into three" or "return and excellent three" became the theme of construction in many cities, especially in the old cities which are in the process of renovating the old look. Among them, the main targets are a large number of old industrial buildings and areas.In recent years, a certain amount of attention has been given to the old industrial constructions outside the environmental re-use both in practice and theory. However, generally speaking, the research of theoretical basis and practice of the current old industrial buildings has just started, therefore, it has the following main problems:firstly, the transformation is lack of targeted theoretical explorations in the old industrial buildings outside environment; secondly, the method and mode of protection and re-use are in need of urgent exploration and summary.This paper put forward certain corresponding solutions to the above problems. First of all, the research background, purpose and significance, methodology and research framework of the old industrial buildings and outdoor environment will be discussed in simple terms. Next, the status and progress of the research both at home and abroad are to be reviewed, so as to sum up the protecting contents and scope of domestic and foreign industrial heritage, the relevant progress, conservation methods as well as practice cases. Secondly, it begins directly to explore the relevant concepts of the environment outside the old industrial building, re-design types and basic theory. With the aim of differentiating similar concepts in order to establish the theory of systems for the coming chapters, it emphasizes the classification and definition of all the pertinent concepts. Moreover, it discusses the background of production and development in nature(location, natural resources) and thinking (cultural ideas, customs and beliefs) around the Qingshuitang in Zhuzhou area, which means jump from "things" behind the back to see the "thing" itself, investigating the background of related things of that particular time and place. Finally, the focus will be laid on the research of external environment redesign of Qingshuitang area in Zhuzhou, including the overall vision, objectives and principles, strategy and methods of design, together with three case studies, what's more, industrial heritage sites and cultural entertainment center, Hunan Ecological Garden and Wetland Park are also included. Finally, it comes to the conclusions and prospects, including the process of reviewing, summarizing and future vision.In this paper, the old industrial buildings and outdoor environmental re-design strategies of Zhuzhou Qingshuitang area are proposed, such as the strategy of characteristic modeling in planning, the network experience in construction and ecological recovery strategy in the external environment. In the analysis of the case study in Hunan Ecological Garden, A design mode as "digging in research, designing in digging and in-depth further development" has been put forward; in the analysis of industrial heritage and cultural entertainment presented case study, another mode which is "area contains the path, the path contains the node, points, lines combines altogether with facets" has been proposed. All these contribute to the ultimate goal of building Qingshuitang area in Zhuzhou into a new industrial tourist district.
