| In the context of China's entry into a rapid stage of urbanization, this paper combs domestic and foreign theories and case studies on the built-up area's definition and classification. With the "templates Method" as a basic method and "classification control" as the theoretical basis, this paper starts with the definition of urban built-up area, and the definition was divided into attribute, function and forms three kinds of key words. Based on this, property correction, function correction and shape correction are raised up as three modules in the method model about the defining of urban built-up area boundary. Thus, urban built-up area boundary as defined in the standard system and the specific process are built.Combined with the built-up area boundary as defined in empirical research of Wukang Town, Deqing County, this paper verifies the practical applicability of urban built-up area boundary as defined in the model and processes. Meanwhile, corresponding discussion of the model results is made. On this basis, a special kind of land shows up, in the course of built-up area boundary as defined, called recessive built-up area, which includes non-formal recessive built-up area, non-perfect recessive built-up area and non-scale recessive built-up area. In-depth classification analysis and optimization strategies are made for these recessive built-up areas. And space power constraints are put forward, including two strategy directions. One is the urban and rural space management and space land constraints under the concept of limited-government, while the other one is urban and rural spatial planning under the concept of limited-plan. Accordingly, relevant optimization proposals on those recessive built-up areas are raised up. |
