Gliding range extended technology is one of the effective and easy accomplished range extended technologies, in connection with the characteristics of the gliding guidance projectile's control system, this thesis does some analysis and research on the application of the fractional controller in the gliding guidance projectile's control system with the help of fractional calculus theory.At the beginning of the thesis, it introduces the speculative theory of fractional calculus, in this stage it focuses upon the analysis of the discretization of fractional calculus operator, puts forward two approximate discretization methods, they are generating function Tustin operator with Muir(recursive form) expansion method and generating function Tustin operator with CFE(continued fraction form) expansion method; and then introduces the integral controller and fractional controller with their digital realization, at the meanwhile proposes two parameters tuning method with genetic algorithms and simplex method; after that, rigid body trajectory model's reduced form and its transfer function is built based on some assumed conditions and with the help of linear perturbation theory; at last, designed the integral order controller and the fractional controller and analyzed their control characteristic respectively.From the analysis of the numerical calculations, it can come to the conclusions that the parameters tuning method which uses genetic algorithms with Tustin+CFE is the best, because the value of the objective function and the overshoot of the response of the unit step is smaller. And in the control loop of the gliding guidance projectile, the fractional controller shows much better performances than integral controller, in a word, it performs larger magnitude-frequency characteristics, higher precision of flight control and greater anti-jamming ability.
