At present, low carbon and environmental protection have become a new social concept, and the development of new energy technology can save resources, be conducive to environmental protection, reduce the load of the earth, and keep the ecological balance, these are in line with the needs of the society. As a new energy technology, piezoelectricity technology can collect vibration mechanical energy, and convert it into electronic power, which not only can reduce structure damage, reduce the structure maintenance cost, but also can supply power for the human society. In this paper the principle of converting mechanical energy to electric energy was introduced, the piezoelectric energy conversion characteristics and storage characteristics were analyzed, different forms of energy harvesting circuits were designed, and the experimental studies were carried out, the main works are as follows:(1) Piezoelectricity Simulation:Through structure simulation and piezoelectric coupling simulation for piezoelectric cantilever beam and impact type circular piezoelectric resonators, the relationship between size and natural frequency of piezoelectric resonator were got. The factors which affect the output voltage of piezoelectric resonators were analyzed, they are overall dimensions, vibration load, and vibration frequency. By two different coupling model of piezoelectric simulation analysis shows that the output voltage of d33 model is twice as much as it at d31 model. Through these studies, a theoretical reference about piezoelectric power generator was got.(2) Harvesting Circuit Design:Different energy harvesting and control circuits were designed. Mathematical models of output voltage and output power are established, the relationship between parameters of circuits and harvesting voltage and power was obtained. It was verified by circuit simulation, and they are the reference of the circuit parameter design.(3) Experimental Studies:A cantilever experimental platform was built to test the piezoelectric oscillator output voltage with different sizes and connection models, which verify the theory of optimal length ratio and parallel stacked pile. All designed circuits were verified by experimental. Circular piezoelectric device of d33 model was established, and the power generation capacity and features were evaluated.
