The process of projectile sandwiching gun barrel is a important segment firearms' emission. The task is researching performance characteristic which is the process of single material and uniform motion projectile sandwiching gun barrel, coordinating the development work of the pill tucking simulation testing system. Through theoretical calculation and numerical simulation method, analyzing the situation of stress, strain, deformation and stress analysis of the process of projectile sandwiching gun barrel. Apply software LS-DYNA to do the process of single material and uniform motion projectile sandwiching gun barrel, obtain deformation data and stress strain cloud pictures and packed into force curve of different material, different packed into speed, different drift angle and different diameter. Find out The greatest stress, strain node and numerical, nodal displacement and deformation of the projectile and packed into force with the change of time equation of different data. Summing up the analysis of this problem general method, and finding out what they change rule, drawing the conclusion.This paper is a preliminary work of the pill tucking simulation testing system, the results can be for reference of the next research step.
