| The number of our country's cars has been more than one hundred million and remains the trend of rapid growth. Vehicles use up a lot of petroleum and other non-renewable resources, causing serious pollution to the environment. The air-powered engine is a clean energy power device which converts the compressed air energy into the mechanical energy. Based on the green ergonomics design content, a new structure of reciprocating air-powered engine was put forward, and then simulating and testing the air-powered engine. The content of the thesis can be divided into four parts:(1)Against to the shortage of Piston Crank Mechanism, a new structure of piston reciprocating air-powered engine was proposed. The device outputs one-way rotary motion through the transmission system. The general structure plan of single-stage and two-stage reciprocating air-powered engine were designed; then calculating and checking the transmission shaft and gear.(2)Based on the principle of laws of thermodynamics, the mathematical model of the single-stage air-powered engine was established and simulated with software AMESim. Then analyzing the influence of all the parameters on performance of the engine, providing the air-powered engine's optimization with strong theoretical base.(3)The two-stage air-powered engine was established and simulated, and comparing performance with the single-stage engine. Via research on the different second-cylinder bores, the optimal combination of the first-cylinder and the second-cylinder was obtained.(4)Designing and building the air-powered engine test bench on which the experiment was put in practice. According to the ergonomics, laying the engine system on the bike, analyzing and evaluating the system with software JACK. Testing the speed, distance and maneuverability of the air-powered bicycle, and the energy efficiency can be up to 52.3%.With researches on the technical method and improvement measure of outputting motive based on the principle of gas expansion, foundation of further study on the development of the new energy vehicles was established. |
