Ecological Engineered Cementitious Composites—ECO-ECC is a new kind of Engineered Cementitious Composites that use iron ore tailings to replace fine grinding quartz sand and use fly ash to replace part of the cement. It not only reduces the cost but also helps the recycling of industrial waste; greatly protect the environment, weakened tailings and fly ash's environmental hazards. This paper mainly focuses on the preparation technology and working performance and mechanical performance of ECO-ECC through experimental research, completes the following work.(1)Determined the preliminary mix proportion of ECO-ECC based on the engineered cementitious composites technology, then adjust and optimize the mix proportion through comparing and analyzing the preparation technology and performance, finally make sure the optimum mix proportion.(2)This paper takes the material work performance experimental research of ECO-ECC, and measured the data such as slump, extended degree, spreading time T50 and flow stop time and so on, the ECO-ECC material made in this experiment has good liquidity.(3)This paper takes the material mechanical properties experimental research of ECO-ECC, and analyze all the date in detail, completed the 3 point bending test and cube splitting test, discusses the materials bending strength and splitting tensile strength of ECO-ECC. Discuss the flexural toughness of ECO-ECC through the four point bending test of the beam and sheet under different fiber contents.(4)Through the preparation and the experimental research about the work performance and mechanics performance of ECO-ECC, this paper analyzes the factors such as fiber volume fraction and fiber length and so on that influence the material work performance and mechanics performance of ECO-ECC qualitative and quantitative. Optimize the material mix proportion and preparation of ECO-ECC. The ECO-ECC material studied in this paper, not only has good work performance and mechanical properties, but also has a lot of advantages such as the recycling of tailings and environmental protection and energy saving and so on. The economic benefit and social benefit of ECO-ECC is remarkable, so it has good application prospect. The results of ECO-ECC studied in this paper have very good reference significance for scientific research and engineering application.
