At present, power electronics equipments play an important role in every field of power transformation. However, the harmonic pollution is caused because the rectifiers are widely controlled by poor technology. PWM technology of the rectifier becomes the highlight of the research and application. With the study of the correspondent control strategy and algorithm fast developing, the PWM rectifiers own many advantages:power transformation running in high power factor, the higher quality of the output voltage, reduced the reactive power and harmonic pollution to grid, realized the ability of bidirectional power flow.The power viewpoint in this paper is introduced to the control of the PWM rectifiers. Basing on the energy shaping theory, the state error Port-Controlled Hamiltonian (PCH) controller is designed for the current and direct power control strategy respectively.First of all, according to the existed mathematical model of three-phase voltage PWM rectifier in abc,αβ, dq frame, the rectifier model is expressed to be the form of the PCH systems with dissipation (PCH) on the basis of passivity principle. The method of energy shaping of PCH system was introduced, and the calculating method of the state error Port-Controlled Hamiltonian (PCH) controller is given.Secondly, the controllers of PWM rectifier is designed basing on the current and direct power control strategy respectively. Moreover, a proportional integral (PI) of the output voltage error is introduced to eliminate the steady-state error of the output dc voltage. And the stability of the system was analyzed.At last, the SPWM and SVPWM realization of PWM rectifier are introduced. The simulation models are built in simulink toolbox of matlab, and the results indicate the correction and applicability of the schemes.
