Electric actuator is a important equipment of modern industrial automation process, receive the standard control signals (digital or analog signals) from the regulator change into the corresponding angular displacement or linear displacement output to drive the valve and other actions of objects to be transferred automatically adjusted for the purpose. This article analyze the research status of electric actuator, attempt the feasibility of building electric actuator experimental test platform based on permanent magnet synchronous motor and brushless DC motors with the help of simulation tools. Firstly, in-depth study of the permanent magnet synchronous motor vector control method and common control strategy is taken based on the mathematical model of permanent magnet synchronous motor. Then, after comparing the advantages and disadvantages of various vector control strategies, determine the id= 0 control strategy and space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) for voltage modulation, And build three closed-loop control system model for a detailed analysis and parameter setting. For brushless DC motors, the mathematical model of motor structure is built by analyzed the electrical equations and mechanical movement equation, the establishment of a brushless DC motor control system simulation model is established of PWM wave form based on hysteresis control. Comparison by the motor characteristics and cost between two kinds of motors, brushless DC motor is selected to build a servo drive system. On this basis, the design of the electric actuator of the brushless DC motor control system based on the dsPIC30F4011, on the hardware platform the software system debugging, to prove the feasibility of this control system. The paper is summarized at the end and some disadvantages need to be improved are pointed out incidentally.
