Switched Reluctance Machine develops with modern power electronics technology, control technology and digital computer technology, which is very attractive for its simplicity, ruggedness and high efficiency. These characteristics make the SRM a prosperous candidate for industry applications.The main contains of this research was about the traditional control method, the bipolar control method and the sensorless control method.I studied the theory about SRM in detail, made some simulations based on Ansoft and designed a set of SRD system with DSP2812, including the actual system designing and debugging.First of all, through reading lots of references about SRM, the history and development of SRM were reviewed. Besides, the character and hot research areas were also presented.Secondly, this paper summarized the basic principles and mathematical models of switched reluctance motor, and mainly studied the traditional control strategy based on asymmetric power circuit.Third, through the bipolar control of SRM based on bridge circuit was studied, including the control strategy and the effect on two phase winding connection in bipolar control.Fourth, this paper described various methods of sensorless system, and the simplified flux-current method was emphatically discussed, as well as the basic principle of the flux method, the flux calculation.Finally, the whole drive system was debugged and run. The corresponding experimental results were analyzed to verify the relevant theoretical analysis.
