The 20th century from 80's to mid to late 90's, China constructed a large number of rigid formed arch bridge, which is a simple, attractive appearance, reasonable stress in the bridge mode.However, due to the Low bearing capacity of its own, higher rate of damage occurs.The past 30 years, as China's sustained and rapid economic development of society, Passenger and cargo volume continued substantial growth, a large increase of heavy vehicles, traffic density and vehicles load, arch bridge began to reveal weaknesses of the current traffic demand,.Since the original bridge design, construction and aging and other reasons, making the bridge a variety of diseases emerging, Many of Steel Arch Bridge is not normal operations. Therefore, the in-depth study of reinforced arch bridge technology has great practical significanceIn this paper, Research are based on Qinjiang 2th Bridge.The causes of disease arch bridge and reinforcement methods are analyzed.This article first analysis the reason of recurrent various disease, with pre-Qin Jiang Bridge strengthening routine inspection and load test data, the disease of the bridge are concretely analysied. We found that weakness links that cross the bridge and lack of lateral stiffness caused are the main reason for the damage,at the same time describeing methods commonly used in bridge strengthening,and indicating the direction of the bridge reinforcement.Through comparing the different programs, we chose the beam reinforcement metiod and solution to other disease.We also use the finite element analysis software MIDAS/CIVIL analysis arch bridge beams on the static force and stability, dynamic performance.Reinforcement contrast on the dynamic characteristics of beams and stability analysis, through the analysis results comparison we concluded:arch bridge in the beam reinforcement, the dynamic characteristics and stability are enhanced to meet the regulatory requirements, thereby increasing the carrying capacity of the bridge.Finally, comparing the Qin Jiang Bridge of load test data before and after the reinforcement, we know that after the reinforcement, arch bridge's capacity, overall performance has markedly improved, full-bridge force with good performance overall coordination is sufficient stiffness and strength.
