Train control system is a very important technical equipment of railway transportation system, which used to control speed and ensure traffic safety and improve transport capacity. Train control system plays such an important role in railway transportation system that how to analyze the reliability of train control system is a particularly critical and significant job.In order to achieve the purpose of studying the reliability of train control system, it builds a train control system simulation platform whose similarity is calculated by considering the factors of modules to assure it can simulate the real system well. Then through the reliability analysis of simulation platform we can get the real system's assessment indirectly.The paper studies the train control system with dynamic fault tree which combines the advantage of static fault tree and markov chain. Firstly, the qualitative analysis and the quantitative analysis of static fault tree are researched and realized. Secondly, using the modular method, the fault tree is divided into static and dynamic sub trees which use static method and markov chain for solving respectively.Thirdly, how to transfer dynamic fault sub tree to markov chain is studied and how to calculate the results of markov chain is studied and realized. Fourthly, modular synthesis method is studied to combine the analyze results of each module, such as Failure mode, the top event fault probability and importance degree. Finally, a case is presented to show how to divide a complex fault tree into a number of sub trees.In the last, a case study of train-to-ground communication subsystem is given to show the process of reliability analysis. With the reliability data of train control system, reliability analysis software is designed and realized which can achieve modeling, static fault tree analysis and the dynamic fault tree analysis and other functions, which provides analysis tools for the reliability assessment of entire simulation platform,so as the real system.
