EMUs carry a lot of railway passenger transportation, its stable and reliable operation is especially important. Brake system is the important premise of the EMUs reliable safe operation, so the reliability methods studies on the brake system are helpful to the design and maintenance. It has significant academic and applied value. This paper briefly introduces the composition and principle of the CRH2EMU brake system, and the deficiency of Bayesian network and the traditional FTA method using in brake system is discussed. Considering the brake system with redundant, dynamic fault tree analysis has been introduced to analysis the brake system reliability. The method can reflect the characteristics of the redundant of brake systemAccording to the schematic diagram of CRH2EMU brake system and the information management system of failure data of the EMUs, to build the dynamic fault tree model of the brake system. Combining with the characteristics of dynamic fault tree analysis method, the dynamic fault tree of brake is broken down into static and dynamic module. Static module uses the Binary decision diagram (BDD) analysis method and the dynamic module uses the Markova chain analysis method. The occurrence probability of top events and the probability importance of bottom events are calculated. At the same time a computer algorithm is proposed. Finally, the calculation results are analyzed and maintenance suggestions are put forward. Finally, the paper introduces the realization of dynamic fault tree analysis software and completes the example verification. The software consists of dynamic fault tree model and qualitative analysis, quantitative analysis, and other functions. It can be for CRH2EMU brake system reliability analysis of computer aided support.
