In the experiment of under-water supercavitation, the shape of the supercavitation has a great effect on the resistance reduction technology. This thesis, which takes a national defense project as the background, researched the measurements and visualization about the shape parameters of the supercavitation. The characters of the supercavitation is captured accurately in order to rebuild the outgrowing and collapsing process of the supercavitation.The researching background of the key parameters measurements and visualization was introduced at first. And then from the cavitations phenomenon, classification, the characters of the supercavitation which is produce by under-water projectiles and the shape and stability factors on the supercavity, the supercavity was researched. The image of the artificial simulated supercavitation was captured under the simulating under-water environment in the laboratory to find the reason of image distortion. The method of distortion rectification was designed to conquer the distortion arose by camera lens and refraction. Meanwhile, the Hough transmission was introduced to rectify the symmetry axis of the supercavitation.And then the measurement of the shape parameters of the supercavitation was completed. On this basis, the entity is modeled by Multigen Creator based on the key parameters of the supercavitation. The supercavitation visual simulation system, which contains supercavitation dynamic model, special efficacies and view point window, was produced through the Vega Prime APIs and OpenGL functions library.The measurement of the shape parameters of the supercavitation is simple, convenient and high precision and the measurement values can be maximally closer to the true value.Driving by actual data, the supercavitation visual simulation system rebuilt the outgrowing and collapsing process of the supercavitation. It laid the foundation for the further research of the cavitations phenomenon and its mechanism.
