In the modern city of high-speed construction process, the traditional characteristics of spatial patterns and historical context and gradually fade away.Taditional block has been gradually eroded by modern urban construction land. As a special space node, there are many problems in the transformation process of the entrance space of the traditional block. With the expansion of urbanization, many of the traditional blocks of entrance space doesn't exist any longer, the existing entrance room only remains fragments of traditional blocks.In this case, blindly continue and update or subjective to transform tends to homogeneous and confusion in the entrance space.Entry space as a sequence started and ritual space has been lost of the original character and features in the transformation.In this paper, extract the type of landscape archetype with the original intention of the entrance and summarize its landscape features.On this basis, analyze and summarize factors, and hope for the future transformation of the entrance space to play a certain significance. Restore and pass the historical context and cultural identity at entrance space.This Article focus on " the landscape archetype at entrance spaces of trodational blocks in the area of JiangNan " which is the core issues discussed.
