Ship scheduling is an important part of the port scheduling. Ship scheduling optimization problems directly affect the efficiency of passenger transport, quality of service and transportation costs, thus affecting the profitability of shipping companies, so the need to optimize the ship scheduling. The problem involves a variety of constraints, such as class demand, ship class, flight time, speed, configuration, and flight crew mileage. At present, the vast majority of shipping (container transport, passenger transport) scheduler or dispatcher experience to rely on management approach, so that shipping companies can not make full use of transportation resources, operating costs are too high. Therefore, in practical work on the ship scheduling optimization study to address the establishment of ship scheduling system to improve service quality and resource utilization, is necessary.This study aimed to explore the ant colony algorithm for multi-objective optimization problem of ship scheduling and ways of thinking. Focus on:the ship under different circumstances, how to ship scheduling optimization problems are described, and a corresponding mathematical model; how to build a mathematical model to design appropriate ant colony algorithm to solve scheduling optimization problems; and ant colony algorithm, how to deal with multi-objective problem.The study design of the ant colony algorithm using the classical ant colony algorithm for path selection in the ant, pheromone and pheromone evaporation in update mechanism, combined with ant colony algorithm for general nonlinear integer programming space in the constructor method of feasible solutions, the use of line weighting method to multi-objective problem into a single objective problem, and using the Java language to implement the ant colony algorithm. Experimental results show that the ant colony algorithm can significantly improve the feasible schedule to achieve full results...
