China is rich in water resources, has many rivers and lakes which have hydro generating capacity of676million kilowatts, and can be developed to493million kilowatts with the current technology, to378million kilowatts in economy capacity. The generating capacity of our country ranks first in the world. The development of hydroelectric energy is of great significance in China's economic development. Essence of development and utilization of hydropower energy is the construction of water conservancy projects, such as the construction of reservoirs, power plants and dam and so on,to develop and use water energy, water conservancy projects relate to problems of the intake structure, the success or failure of the intake's design relate to the success or failure of a water conservancy project, which determines the water conservancy project whether it can exert" the economic benefits. Many scholars of water conservancy projects have carried out a number of theoretical study and practical demonstration in the water intake structure. In these theoretical and practical research, these methods are based on computer numerical simulation, which computer numerical simulation in the intake's structural design is reasonable in the power plant.Based on ANSYS software's powerful computing capabilities and pre-and post-processing ability, using ANSYS software to three-dimensional finite element static analysis of the water intake structure. First.describing the development of the water intake structure and significance of the study, basic theories and methods in the analysis of the water intake structure; elaborating computer simulation, ANSYS software operating commands and ANSYS three-dimensional finite element analysis of the specific method; At last.actual project of a hydropower station on the Jinsha River in Yunnan Province for expansion. Through the calculation and analysis under different conditions, listed the intake structure's displacement and stress, and compare to the standard and similar engineering practice, to evaluate the intake's structure. and to put forward some proposals in some problems.
