As the fast progress of urbanization, more and more people swarmed into the big cities, causing great traffic congestion problems. The most effective way to solve the serious problem of urban traffic is to build high-density urban rail transit system. Referring to the latest monitoring and management technology of rail transit station equipment in the world, this paper designed and implemented a system about intelligent monitoring and management in the rail transit station based on the technique of distributed monitoring and control. Also, the paper combined with intelligent technology in modern maintenance of equipment and neural network expert system. The main content of the research in this thesis are as follows:1. A massage transmission protocol base on MODBUS/TCP was used in the monitoring system of key equipment in rail station. From the MODBUS/TCP protocol specification, the paper studied how to build a rail transit monitoring and control system to realize data transmission in real-time, with reliability and security, and could also applied to web to achieve long-distance communication.2. Intelligent Monitoring System of station equipment and health maintenance technology is studied. The paper mainly researched neural network technology, artificial intelligence, expert system and intelligent maintenance technologies. It introduced the neural network algorithm based on BP neural network; multi-sensor data fusion technology based on artificial intelligence technology; equipment failure at the station's early fault warning and diagnosis; equipment maintenance technology introduces intelligent expert system for equipment failure based on fault tree.3. Software is developed for intelligent monitoring and health maintenance management system in network rail transit station equipment. Monitoring system is developed based on software of VB.NET, which is responsible for monitoring and control station equipment. Its main function is to achieve monitor and control of station equipment. Management system is mainly responsible for the management of all information of station equipment. Through the fault model and diagnosis of early-warning model, equipment management system is in real-time tracking and testing about the health state of equipment to provide a basis for repair and maintenance.
