With the diversification of travel modes, the pedestrian can choose a variety of modes of transportation to travel, but the vast majority of trips'start and end are always pedestrian, so that the pedestrian has its irreplaceable an important role in the various modes of traffic, but traffic has also led to a variety of new traffic problems. In many major cities in the world, the traffic problems which are caused by walking often serious impact on the operating efficiency of the whole transport system, and those problems often bring a lot of security risks, such as pedestrian stampede, congestion event. As a result, the agencies, units and individuals of domestic and foreign have conducted the research of pedestrian traffic in order to grasp the macro-and microscopic characteristics of pedestrian traffic to understand the mechanism of pedestrian behavior, research pedestrian traffic planning and management, improve the efficiency of pedestrian traffic and enhance security and reducing the impact of pedestrians on other modes of transportation.Review of the status of pedestrian traffic's research, this paper researches the pedestrian traffic of the companion groups which between the macro-pedestrian characteristics and microscopic pedestrian traffic characteristics in order to further enrich and improve the flow of pedestrian traffic system's research. Meanwhile, we build the cellular automaton simulation model to research the pedestrian traffic of the companion group on the basis of the analysis of companion group of pedestrian. We use computer simulation technology to research the companion group of pedestrians, find the influence of companion group of pedestrian on pedestrian micro-, macro-transport characteristics. Under the research of companion group pedestrian traffic characteristics, we contact the micro level and macro level of pedestrian traffic.The paper researches companion group pedestrian traffic characteristics on basic of collected the actual pedestrian data and simulation pedestrian data. The main content of this dissertation is summarized as follows:First, analysis of a companion group of pedestrian traffic characteristicsThis paper used video technology to collection companion group pedestrian data from the public places. Then we research companion group pedestrian's composition, shape, road, deformation characteristics and the law on basic of the identification companion group pedestrian. In-depth analysis companion group pedestrians traffic which between a few individual pedestrian and together pedestrian groups.Second, we analyze the micro-impact influence of the interior member of companion group pedestrians.We used computer software technology to collect and dispose public places pedestrian data in order to analyze the interaction and mechanism among members of the companion group of pedestrians, and we used the data to study pedestrian traffic characteristics of the companion group pedestrians.Third, the cellular automata model's composition and application This paper introduces the definition, composition, characteristics of cellular automata. Then paper reaches the essence of the principle and method of construction the cellular automaton model. Paper based on pedestrian traffic characteristics of the companion group to defined companion group of pedestrian's cellular automaton model. Model includes cellular, cellular space, cellular areas and cellular update rules. Last the author used Flash SC3programming languages to build pedestrian traffic cellular automaton model and used the computer simulation program to simulation research the companion group of pedestrian traffic.
