Subway as a new generation of public transport, receive more and more people favored,it is not only take fast and convenient, but also less influenced by the external environment.So more and more cities began to vigorously develop the subway transit, as well as more andmore people began to select urban rail transit travel. However the subway station is relativelysmall and closed, if the emergency situation occur in there how to ensure the pedestriansescape fast and safe is most important. So, the ultimate goal of this paper is to simulate thepedestrians’ emergency evacuation based on a typical subway station in Beijing when occur adisaster. Those typical pedestrian evacuation models perform the typical situation ofemergency evacuation is perfect and clearly. But for the special characteristics of pedestrianthe study is a little bit scanty. The main works are the followings:Firstly, detail the evacuation time calculation requirements, the psychological behaviorof pedestrians in the evacuation process. And then give a brief summary of the subway stationconstructions which specified in ‘guide’. Analyze serial models, processes and conclusions.Discuss the link between the advantages and disadvantages of key models, to lay a contact toestablish a line of crowd evacuation model.Based on the structural features of the subway station and the key models of thepedestrian flow model, conclude the particularities of the subway station and passengerorganizations method, build a pedestrian evacuation model which consider the mutual aid andexit-choice by cellular automata. Clear that the transition rules consider both pedestrianspsychological situation. Analyze the partial area of the wicket, establish transition rules in thedivided regions by the ticket machine, and determine the way of the movement of pedestriansin the special area.Based on the evacuation which built in chapter three simulate the evacuation processesby software. In the simulation model must exhibit the special characteristics, mutual aid andexit-choice, of pedestrian. The simulation environment is a typical subway station in Beijing.And then conclude the evacuation-time, evacuation-routes, and some other features.In this paper, the establishment of pedestrian flow evacuation cellular automata modeldescription of the of some pedestrians psychological factors and special behavior on the basisof the existing models, was a reaction pedestrian flow evacuation process, to improve thelevel of safety of the subway station to have a certain referential significance.
