In order to increase grafting efficiency,lighten labor intension,improve the quality of grafting and spread the grafting skill in nursery stock cultivation,the grafting machine is designed and manufactured.At present,people uses generally grafting manually in china,the efficiency is low,the labor intensity is big,survival rate is low and not suited to industrialization of seedling production for the planting of seasonal, so it was already well cannot meet the needs of agricultural production.This paper focuses on cutting mechanism of grafting machine,which is the main component of grafring robot.This paper study on grape seeding.According to the grape seedling's biological characteristic,the cultivation way and graft skill as well as the grafting robot's principle,and researching of development situations of automatic grafting at home and aboard,the grafting machine had determined the grafting method that is plug-in method. By measuring experiment on seedling characteristics and, based on test results and grafting skill, designed for major mechanism. This application Pro/Engineer, MSC.ADAMS, and prototype modeling as well as the mechanism for interference detection and dynamics simulation. Determine the location and movement of parts and relationships, as well as various parts with and without interference, and provides a reference for prototype manufacturing.The main results are as following:Measurement of grape seedlings stem diameter,; through various methods of grafting, concluded that the use of plug-in grafting junction area is the largest; designed and manufactured 1:4 of taper twist drill and cutting tools;through the orthogonal experiment of cutting torque, came to the largest cutting torque and the maximum resistance; designed and produced the clamp holding mechanism using electromagnet; designed a dual slider handling mechanism and v-belt drive system.In this paper, applied AUTOCAD and numerical analysis, simulation and virtual prototyping;it has developed a plug-in grafting machine cutting grafting of grape seedlings of institutions, as well as supporting institutions, greatly improved the efficiency of grafting; by theoretical analysis and experimental study on the integration of the use of grafted nursery stock machine analysis of simulation and physical prototype testing and validation. Following a preliminary test, indicats that the machine achieved the desired objectives.
