Paridea angulicollis Motschulsky is one of the most pests to Gynostemma pentaphyllum (Thunb).From 2009 to 2010,the paper had studied systematically the feeding habitus, population dynamic by room experiments and the life table was established in laboratory at 26℃temperature.The results are as follows:1. Biological characters:Adults harmed serious usually on annual April and October.Adult has character of predatory single,feign death,fly distance,strong resistance,sexual reproduction.Adult and larvae all can cause harm.2. The effect of temperature on the feeding of Paridea angulicollis Motschulky larvae and adult:the feeding amount of the larvae stage, the feeding amount of the female and male were at 26℃.The feeding was suppressed at the high or low temperature .At the same temperature, the feeding of every male and female of the biggest,smallest leaf area are obvious differences . And established the model between male and female average day of feeding leaves area (Y) and temperature (X) .3. Threshold temperature and effective accumulation temperature:the different stages of threshold temperature varies greatly.The threshold temperature of egg was highest. It needed 12.96℃.The effective accumulated temperature of egg,whole gengration were 98.67,429.56 degree-days.4. The effect of temperature on different stages survival:the survival of each development stage from 23℃~29℃was higher.When temperature is low than 23℃,survival rate drop gradually.From the entire generation of survival,survival rate was highest at 26℃.5. The effect of temperature on egg productions:the egg productions at 26,29℃were higher other temperatures.The low temperature impact laying eggs.Such as the egg productions was 52.33 eggs at 17℃.The model was set up about the relationship between adult life and temperature:Y=-1.355x2+77.409x-895.657,(R2=0.762).6. The effect of temperature on adult life span:the female and male insect life shorten with the rise of temperature.The female adult life was longer than male at the same temperature.The model was set up about the relationship between adult life and temperature: Y=0.181x2+11.114x-207.961,(R2=0.971).7. The life table of experimental population was established at 26℃constant temperature: I=34.31,R0=60.1713,T=46.1334,rm=0.0889,λ=1.0929,t=7.7969.Adult fecundity was great,the population presented growth trend.
