The experiment was focused on effects of acid stress in different pH,aluminum stress on physiological characteristics of Phyllostachys praecox seedlings,The results showed as follows:After treatment of acid stress in different pH, biomass, contents of chlorophyll and soluable protein, the activities of superoxide dismutase(SOD) and peroxide (POD), photosynthetic parameters of Pn,Gs,Ci,Tr increased first and then decreased with the decreasement of pH value:biomass increased from pH5.5 to pH4.5 and decreased from pH4.5 to pH2.0.Reflectance spectra of pH5.5 is higher than pH4.0/pH4.5 but lower than that of pH3.0/pH2.0. The separate degree of speatra line was significantly increased when 60d,which showed that the degree of stress was increased.Biomass and leaves area index decreased with the increasement of aluminum concen-tration, chlorophyll, Fo,Fm,Fv/Fm,Qp,ΦPSII decreased and qN increased;SOD, POD activity, proline and MDA content in leaves reached maximum when concentration was 6.4mmol/L.The trendency of SODand POD in root were same as that of leaves;root activity reaches minmum when concentration is 6.4mmol/L.Reflectance spectra increased in visiable region (350nm-700nm),with the increasement of aluminum concentration and decreased in infra-red region(700nm-900nm).There was a regulation:reflectance spectra moved from long wavelength(red edge region) to short wavelength(blue region)Hematoxylin stain result showed that color was gradually deepen in root tip with the increase of aluminum concentration. The reaserch showed that, compared with control group, K, P, Mg, Fe content in root and Ca, Mg content in leaves were increased at lower aluminum concentration, and Al/P,A1/Ca in both root and leaves were increrased with aluminum concentration increasing. The research also showed the content of Ca,Mg,Mn and Zn in root was less than that in leaves, but the content of P, Fe in root was more than that in leaves.
