Many scholars of the chemical composition of Angelica, pharmacology and clinical applications are for a more detailed study. In this paper, the different growing areas within the Angelica Minxian major pharmaceutical active ingredients in the volatile oil were analyzed comparative study. Direct steam distillation (HD method) to extract the essential oil of Angelica. Single factor and orthogonal experimental design were optimized by steam distillation of volatile oil of the optimum conditions. Using gas chromatography - mass spectrometry (GC-MS) on the steam distillation of different planting sites Minxian volatile oil in the identification of chemical constituents were separated. The peak area normalization method for the determination of the relative content of each component, and comparative analysis of different points of the Angelica plant essential oil extraction and chemical composition differences. The results show that:1.In the steam distillation of volatile oil in the process, the extraction time (D) is the most important factors on the volatile oil yield of a highly significant (P <0.01); Medicine crushing degree (A) and immersion time (B) is a secondary factor, the impact of volatile oil extraction have significantly (P <0.05), Medicine crushing degree (A) greater than the impact of immersion time (C).
