Drip irrigation is one of the most effective technologies to have a better crops harvest and solve the problem of water scarcity for modern agriculture. However, the clogging problem of drip emitter and the high operation cost restricted the real application and development of drip irrigation seriously. By the support of National Nature Science Foundation, based on the laboratory experiment platform for testing the comprehensive hydraulic performance of drip emitters, a frequency converter and Programmable logic Controller were furnished, which improved the high uniformity of water and the high precision of the pressure, operating pressure was provided in different dynamic model through the frequency converter and control technology for the drip irrigation system. And a platform was built up for testing the comprehensive hydraulic performance and the anti-clogging ability of drip emitters.In the aspect of the effect of dynamic operating pressure on the hydraulic performance of drip emitters: The dynamic model of operating pressure was designed by taking the base pressure, cycle and amplitude as factors. Utilizing orthogonal experiment, the emitters performed hydraulic experiment. The influence law of the factors on the discharge was found. The regression relationship of the dynamic factors-average incharge were established through interpolation and fitting; The emitters performed hydraulic experiment by taking the amplitude as a factor, and the influence law of the amplitude on the flow regime.In the aspect of the effect of dynamic operating pressure on anti-clogging ability: Based on the former researches, four different kinds of emitters performed strengthened clogging experiments in four different kinds of dynamic model by taking the amplitude as a factor. An analysis of the influence law of the amplitude on the discharge, uniformity and clogging rate was finished. It is found that the dynamic effect of the different model weakened with the increase of the amplitude gradually, and the dynamic effect is outstanding when the amplitude ranges from 2m H2O to 3m H2O.In a word, based on the laboratory experiment platform for testing the comprehensive hydraulic performance of drip emitters, the dynamic operating pressure was designed through the frequency converter and control technology. Emitters performed clear water and strengthened clogging experiments in four different dynamic models. An analysis of the influence law of the base pressure, cycle and amplitude on the discharge, uniformity and clogging rate was finished. And the research results will provide significant theoretical basis and technical guidance for the application and development of new-type drip irrigation.
