Taking evergreen, forest plantation and deciduous broad-leaved mixed forest in theFengyang Mount of Zhejiang province for instance, the research studies the main standstructural characteristics and effects of soil improvement in the mid subtropical zone throughfield survey and laboratory measurement in stand structural index, soil properties and etc. Theresearch result shows:Firstly, the tree species composition has been further enriched and the forest types ofMasson's pine plantation, Cunninghamia lanceolata and bamboo forest gradually change intothat of coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forests, evergreen and deciduous broad-leavedmixed forest and Montane elfin forest as the altitude rising. The diameter distribution ofconiferous and broad-leaved mixed forests is in line with diameter distribution rules of naturalforests within300m,1355m and1500m. The diameter class distribution of standard sample ofChinese fir plantation is approximate normal distribution. The diameter distribution ofconiferous and broad-leaved mixed forests in600m and cryptomeria fortunei plantations in1489m belong to twined peaks curve, featuring mixed generation forests.Secondly, within0cm to60cm as the depth of soil increases while the soil bulk density, PHvalues and total potassium increase gradually and soil pore space, capillary porosity, themaximum moisture capacity, capillary water capacity, the minimum moisture capacity, organicmatter, total nitrogen, hydrolysis nitrogen, effective phosphorus, efferent potassium and urineenzyme activity decreases gradually. Within300m to1355m, the medium value of soil bulkdensity and ph values decrease gradually as the altitude rising while the average value of totalsoil pore space, capillary porosity, the maximum moisture capacity, capillary water capacity,the minimum moisture capacity, soil water storage, organic matter, total nitrogen, hydrolysisnitrogen, effective phosphorus, efferent potassium and urine enzyme activity, inverts activity,protease activity and catalane activity increase. To the medium value of soil drainage ability,the altitude900m runs firstly,600m secondly,1355thirdly and300m lastly.Thirdly, to the medium value of total soil pore space and capillary porosity in the samealtitude of different forest stands, cryptomeria fortunei plantations ranks firstly, evergreen anddeciduous broad-leaved mixed forest secondly, chinese fir plantation thirdly and coniferous andbroad-leaved mixed forests lastly. To the medium value of the maximum soil water capacity,capillary moisture capacity and the minimum water capacity, cryptomeria fortunei plantationsruns firstly, evergreen and deciduous broad-leaved mixed forest secondly, coniferous andbroad-leaved mixed forests thirdly and chinese fir plantation lastly. To the medium value of soilorganic matter, total nitrogen, hydrolysis nitrogen, effective phosphorus, efficient potassium,urine enzyme activity, inverts activity, and protease activity and catalane activity, evergreen and deciduous broad-leaved mixed forest ranks firstly, cryptomeria fortunei plantationssecondly, coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forests thirdly and chinese fir plantation lastly.The soil moisture content, total porosity, water drainage ability and water storage in differentseasons features as July in summer firstly, April in spewing secondly, November thirdly inautumn, and January in winter lastly.Fourthly, through the analysis of correlation existing between various nutrient factors, theresult shows that the variation of correlation of soil nutrient elements is rather high. Thenutrient factors of soil bulk density, ph values, soil water contents, organic matter, totalnitrogen, hydrolysis nitrogen, total phosphorus, effective phosphorus, efficient potassium andetc behave obvious negative correlation. However, it is characterized positive correlationbetween soil water content and soil organic matter, total nitrogen, hydrolysis nitrogen, effectivephosphorus and efficient potassium and soil enzyme activity. The value of IFI in evergreen anddeciduous broad-leaved mixed forest is typically higher than other sample plots.
