Effects Of Plant Essential Oil On Growth Performance , Intestinal Microflora And Immunization Performance In Piglets

This experiment was investigated different levels plant essential oil to weaning piglets production performance, digestibility and intestinal flora and immune effect. The experiment according weight close and male female evenlyselect principle.240 28-day-old weaning piglets was divided into 4 groups with 6 replicas of 10 each only. The experiment design single factor. The diets were designed to contain 0%(control group),0.005%,0.01%,0.015% and last for 35 days. The results were as follow:1,Effects of plant essential oil on growth performance in pigletsAdd plant essential oil can improve the production performance, compare with control group ,diet add 1%, 0.015% of plant essential oil can improve ADG and ADFI(p < 0.01), the plant essential oil 0.005% significantly improved ADG(p < 0.05), but the ADFI have nodifference (p > 0.05). Add 0.005%, 0.01%, 0.015% of plant essential oil significantly reduced diarrhea frequency (p < 0.01), add 0.015% of plant essential oil significantly reduces the F/G (p < 0.01), protein and crude fat digestion rate have nodifference in each groups. (p > 0.05).2,Effects of plant essential oil on intestinal microflora in pigletsAdd 0.005%, 0.01%, 0.015% of plant essential oil significantly reduce the content of escherichia coli (p < 0.01), add 0.01% of plant essential oil very significantly increases the levels of lactobacillus (p < 0.01). Add plant essential oil can extremely significant reduce harmful bacterium group of quantity.3,Effects of plant essential oil on immune in pigletsDiet add 0.015% of plant essential oil significantly increased leukocytes engulf rate, total protein, albumin, IgG, IgM, IgA and C4, also improves the transformation of lymphocyte and C3. Diet add 0.01% of plant essential oil extremely significant increased leukocytes engulf rate, IgM, IgA , C3 and C4, also improvs total protein and IgG content. Diet add 0.005% of plant essential oil extremely significantly increased leukocytes engulf rate,albumin,IgA, C3 and C4 content, significantly improved IgG content.Comprehensive analysis, add 0.01% can obviously improve the piglet immune function.
