The present study aimed to investigate the effects of supplement different levels of lactoferrin on growth performance, intestinal mucosal morphology, intestinal microflora, intestinal mucosa SlgA and intestinal cytokine of early weaned piglets. To explore the lactoferrin if improved intestinal mucosa immunity, reduced the diarrhea ratio to aimed the growth performance, for lactoferrin use provide test basis and scientific guiding.Ninety-six weaned piglets with 7kg,21d, three-line crossbred (Duroc x Landrace x Yorkshire) were assigned randomly to 4 treatments and each treatment had 4 replicates with 6 piglet per replicate. Group A was control group, feeding with corn-soybean meal basic diet without probiotics B, C, D were test group, which added different levels (250 mg/kg,500 mg/kg,750 mg/kg) of lactoferrin to the basic diet respectively. The results suggested that:(1) Dietary adding lactoferrin can improved ADG. Lf 500 mg/kg group and 750 mg/kg had significant difference (P<0.05). Dietary adding lactoferrin had the trend of increasing ADFI. But compared with the control group A, it had no significant difference (P>0.05). Compared with the control group A, Lf 250 mg/kg group and 500 mg/kg group was extremely significantly (P<0.01), Lf 750 mg/kg group was significantly (P<0.05).(2) Dietary adding lactoferrin increased the concentration of serum IgG, IgM, degrade serum interleukin-1βconcentration, but had no significant differences (P>0.05), compared with the control group A, the concentration of interleukin-6 of Lf 250 mg/kg group and Lf 500 mg/kg was extremely significantly degraded (P<0.01), significant degraded compared with Lf 750 mg/kg group (P<0.05).(3) Dietary adding lactoferrin can reduced the sum of E.coli in caecum significantly (P<0.05), Lf 500 mg/kg group was extremely significantly degraded (P<0.01), compared with the control group A, Lf 500 mg/kg group increased the sum of Latobacillus in caecum significantly (P<0.05), reduced the sum of E.coli in Colon significantly (P<0.05), Compared with the control group A, Lf 500 mg/kg group increased the sum of Latobacillus in Colon extremely significantly (P<0.01), Lf 500 mg/kg group and 750 mg/kg group was significant (P<0.05).(4) Lf 500 mg/kg group and 750 mg/kg group increased the villus height of Duodenum, Jejunum and Ileum extremely significantly (P<0.01), Lf 750 mg/kg group increased the villus height of Duodenum and Ileum significantly (P<0.05); Compared with the control group A, Lf 500 mg/kg group degraded the depth of crypt of Duodenum and Jejunum significantly (P<0.05), degraded the depth of crypt of Ileum extremely significantly (P<0.01); Compared with the control group A, Lf 500 mg/kg group and 750 mg/kg group increased the ratio of villus/crypt Duodenum, Jejunum and Ileum extremely significantly (P<0.01), Lf 750 mg/kg group increased the ratio of villus/crypt Ileum significantly (P<0.05).(5) Dietary adding lactoferrin increased the concentration of Jejunum mucosa SlgA, IL-2, degraded y-IFN concentration, but had no significant differences (P>0.05), 500 mg/kg group increased the concentration of Jejunum mucosa IL-4 significantly (P<0.05);Compared with the control group A, dietary adding lactoferrin could increase the concentration of Ileum mucosa SlgA, IL-2, IL-4, but had no significant differences (P>0.05), but different levels of lactoferrin could degrade the concentration of Ileum mucosa significantly (P<0.05).In summary, dietary adding certain dosage lactoferrin could improve growth performance, reduced the rate of diarrhea, increased the concentration of serum IgG, IgM, also degrade IL-1βand IL-6 content, increased the villus height of intestine and degraded the depth of crypt, improved gastro-intestinal microorganism bacteria colony, increased beneficial bacteria colony quantity, increased the concentration of intestinal mucosa SlgA, IL-2, and maintained the equilibrium of thl/th2 system. Therefore, lactoferrin promoted the development of intestinal of the early weaned piglets.
