Forest is the largest terrestrial ecosystem on Earth, it is the necessary basis for human survival and development, it not only provides a wealth of timber and forest products, and play an important role in conserving water, regulating climate, sand-fixing and protecting the environment. To make forest management more scientific and practical, the use of visualization technology to simulate the process of forest management will help us better grasp the current situation and the changes in operation. People will be able to have intuitively understood of forest resource structure, layout, growth and change, thus provide intuitive, vivid and brand-new3D forest visualized simulation of forest research, produce and decision-making.Based on traditional forest management and combing scientific visualization, the paper conduct research on process operation visualized simulation. By abstracting plantation management process, packaging and parameterized specific management process measurement, conducting customized visualization management process, using process-driving engine and analyze management process, thus realized operation result visualized expression and programming the above process. Based on above research, using national Huangfengqiao forest farm of Youxie, Hunan's fir forest as an example to visualized management process simulation, then apply the process to Japanese larch of Xiaolongshan experimental forest department of Gansu Province.The following research conclusion has been given:(1) Processed planted forest simulation customized technology has been provided, by abstracting planted forest management process, and extract the technology index parameter, combining with fir forest's growth model, packaging the management process by interactive feedback between management process and growth model, modularized packaging the measurement in operation process, and parameterized the operation index, by using drag technology to realized operation process visualized process customized.(2) Visualized simulation technology of interactive forest operation process has been provided. By introducing customized process management, and by using engine to conduct analysis and execution to the process, operation process and forest growth will implement interactively, therefore realize visualized expression of the operation result.(3) Based on above research, the plated forest operation visualized simulation system has been developed, the system introduced multivariate data support pattern, adapt modulated and parametric software design, achieved visualized simulation modulated and parametric operation.(4) By using the developed system and data from experiment region, visualized simulate the actual operation process of operation then realized customized express of management process and visualized simulation expression.
