With the rapid development of computer information technology and virtual reality technology, visual analog front-end technology has been widely used in various fields. To improve the forestry informationization construction speed and improve forestry information management level, is an important work in forestry scientific research and development direction. The visual simulation technology can break through the limit of time and space, has become a research hotspot in forestry. The visual simulation technology is applied to the stand structure analysis adjustment, the construction of virtual forest scene, makes forest managers can more intuitive, more convenient and more effective on stand structure to adjust and optimize, to realize the information management of forest, to further promote the process of forestry informationization.This study based on the Direct3D technology, combined with the tree crown shape curve, and then modeled trees. Using the MOGRE 3D rendering engine, combined with the sky, terrain, trees model to construct the real stand three-dimensional scene, analysis and visualization simulation on the stand spatial structure and the forest spatial structure; By calculating the analysis stand angle scale, size ratio, mingling, open and competition index, combined with the bulletin board display technology and ray query algorithm, simulated the process of adjusting the stand structure.This study combined the stand structure analysis adjustment theory and computer visualization simulation technology and developed the stand structure analysis and adjustment of visualization simulation system for forest managers and forestry workers, adopts three-tier architecture model, respectively for the data layer, business logic layer and presentation layer, and It can provide effective help for forest managers to master the state of the stand structure in real time and to make the forest structure adjustment plan. The results show that the simulation system for the visualization has strong ability for human-computer interaction, simple operation, can visually reflect the stand of the overall state and the environment, is conducive to the production of forest operators to make reasonable forest management plan and adjustment of forest structure, also to improve forest ecological functions.
