Cl inical Research of Electropuncture combined with Rehabili-tation Training for Pseudobular Palsy after StrokeSpeciality:Acupuncture and massageStudent:YangHuaTutor:Professor TanqiWenObjective:To compare the clinical effect for swallowing disorders(SD) pseudobulbar palsy caused by cerebral infaction between the electropuncture(EA) combined with rehabilitation training method and electropuncture treatment according to the RCT method.Methods:There were 58 cases randomly divided into the treatment group and control group, all the cases were the SD patients from January 4,2009 to July 31,2008, and tow of them were knockout. We treated the treatment group with EA combined with rehabilitation training(n=28), and the control group with EA(n=30). We evaluated the clinical effectiveness between two groups by the total effective scale, the index of TCM swallow assessment score and Dysphagia-Specific quality of life, the safety index, as well as the compliance index。Therefore, to evaluate the therapeutic effect of EA combined with rehabilitation training for the SD.Result:1.To compare the base line conditions:The base line conditions of two groups were satisfactory with good proportionality, could observe comparable(P>0.05). 2.To compare the total therapeutic effect:The therapeutic effect of treatment group was special, total effective rate was high as 89.29%, and there was comparability and statistical significance of the total symptom scores between two groups(P<0.05).3. To compare the index of SSA and Dysphagia-Specific quality of life:the improve of score of treatment group at the end of treatment was more than the control group, there was significant differences between two groups(P<0.05); but there was no. significant differences between two groups at 2th week (P>0.05).4. To compare the compliance:There was no statistic difference(P>0.05).5. To compare the safety index:Both groups were safe, no statistic difference(P>0.05). Conclusion:1.The treatment of EA combined with rehabilitation training showed significant effect on the SD, as effective as the EA.2. The treatment group was superior to the control group on the improve of score of the two scale.3.The method of EA combined with has so many advantages, such as easy operation, less side effect, safe, can obviously improve the quality of life of the SD patients.
