The cardiovascular disease is a threat to human's health and life. According to statistics, there are 1,500 deaths because of cardiovascular disease in the word[1]. Chinese society of TCM in March 2010, it says that there are 300 million people die of cardiovascular disease each year in China [2], The main symptom of cardiovascular disease are heart palpitations, breathing difficulties, cyanosis, dizziness, syncope. Some people even sudden death. It is a key to save life that prevents and detects cardiovascular disease. At present, the Holter can continuous monitor patients'ECG and capture the ECG of abnormal, it can also detect the sudden death of high-risk cases [3]. But the cost of Holter is very high, patient can not to burden, so Holter cannot to spread in the ordinary family. The prices of market's ECG monitor are high too, so it cannot promote in the market. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a home ECG monitoring system that has reliable, low cost and portable function to help patients. It can master the accurate information on common conditions, so people can take measures to improve the survival rate.This subject have developed a home ECG monitoring system of portable that based on C8051F020[4] MCU, the system can carry out ECG acquisition, storage, display, monitor and alarm to ECG Signal in a long time. This system can also transfer the ECG data to a PC through the USB, and transmit to the hospital treatment center. The expert put forward the advice to patients through analysis the ECG data. Such as take the medicine or hospital treatment. So we can provide the most satisfactory service to patients.This system mainly consists of the input part, enlarged part, control part, power supply, USB circuit. Through the raw ECG sensor and high-pass, the system has removed all of the interference and noise, then the signal go into the C8051F020[4] microcontroller to process data, the abnormal ECG to be stored and reported immediately. This system also has external expansion of FLASH and LCD displays, in order to save the ECG data and display. System also uses USB interface and PC for data communication, ECG data can be achieved easily, fast and accurate transmission. This system looks small, portable, real-time observation of ECG changes, as the same time it has strong anti-interference ability, small, lightweight, low cost, available battery energy, suitable for home use.After has designed and made the software and hardware, first debug the various modules of the system, and then run machine. After commissioning, the system realizes the ECG acquisition, conversion, storage and other functions, not only to monitor, display, extract the abnormal ECG, but also transmit data through the USB interface circuit. The system can use batteries, easy to carry; low cost, ordinary cardiovascular disease patients can be afforded. After testing and clinical comparison shows that system is high accuracy, stable performance, low power consumption, strong anti-jamming capability. It meets design requirements; it can be used to cardiovascular patients in the family.
