| Objective To understand the high risk behaviors of AIDS and its influencing factors among MSM (Men who have sex with men), to understand the master status about AIDS prevention knowledge, to understand the status of service accepted and demanding of achieving about preventing and controling AIDS among MSM, and the status of AIDS and sexually transmitted diseases infection in Xuchang City, so as to provid scientific evidence for instituting measure of prevention and control AIDS about the MSM and the task of preventing and controling AIDS aiming at the MSM.Methods Between January 2010 and October 2010,"snowball" method to recruit subjects, and after full consultation, informed consent under the premise of "one to one", an anonymous questionnaire on the spot to review the questionnaire to ensure the quality of the questionnaire,3ml-5ml venous blood were collected, detection of AIDS, syphilis, hepatitis B, hepatitis C and other sexually transmitted diseases. Database was established by EpiData3.1 by double-input methods for data quality control. And data were analyzed by using SPSS13.0.Results A total of 218 paiticipants and venous blood were enrolled,3.67% of them were HIV antibody positive,10.09% of them were syphilis antibody positive.The ratio of knowing knowledge on preventing and controling AIDS was 80.73%. The check ratio of HIV antibody was 33.03% in the recent one year.the ratio of achieveing servings that preventing and controling AIDS was low, the achieving ratio of providing condom and lubricant,associate education,VCT servings respectively were 38.53%,30.28%,42.20%,40.83%.there were 79.82% of MSM achieve the knowledge of preventing and controling AIDS through network.The rate of making use of condom was very low when MSM have the sexual intercourse through anus with the people of the same sex, buying sex, selling sex and have the sexual intercourse with heterosex on the recent time,they were 44.26%,29.41%,37.50%,47.83%, respectively.The ratio of making use of condom when MSM have the sexual intercourse through anus with the people of the same sex has observable difference in three aspectes that if the sexual coachfellow come from network,if achieving provided lubricant in the recent one year, if accepting VCT servings. Probability were less than 0.05.The rate of making use of condom was very low when MSM have the sexual intercourse through anus with the people of the same sex, buy sex, sell sex and have the sexual intercourse with heterosex in the recent six month,they respectively were 16.39%,17.65%,25.00%,30.43%.The ratio of using condom when MSM have the sexual intercourse through anus with the people of the same sex has observably difference in five aspectes of culture, marriage, economy, the ratio of knowing AIDS knowledge, if achieving provided lubricant in the lately six month, Probability were less than 0.05.The proportion that sexual coachfellow was one when MSM have the sexual intercou-rse through anus with the people of the same sex, buy sex, sell sex and have the sex-ual intercourse with heterosex in the recent six months respectively were 24.59%, 11.76%,0%,88.41%,the phenomena of multiple sex partners were prevalent.the quan-tity of sexual intercourse through anus with the people of the same sex has observably difference in four aspectes of culture, marriage, age of maiden sexual conduct, the circs of appearing venereal disease in lately one year, Probability were less than 0.05.Conclusion The rate of AIDS and sexually transmitted diseases infection were very high among MSM in Xuchang. The rate that knowledges of preventing and controling on AIDS among MSM wes low,and MSM have the phenomena that knowledge and behavior were badly detached. The ratio of serving cover was low. The consciousness about risk of HIV infection was low. The phenomena of multiple sex partners were prevalent.The rate of using condom was low. multi-sectoral participation, preventing and controlling AIDS among MSM are pressing. |
