Objective:Through the summary of the clinical manifestation of different syndromes of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) in chronic erosive gastritis(CEG),the research aims to explore the regularity of syndrome distribution, and further analyze the correlation of GERD syndromes with age, gender, disease course, Hp (Helicobactor Pylori) infection and gastroscopic presentation, that provide evidence to scientific research. Methods:On the basis of literature study, the data of patients' symptoms and signs are got through four diagnostic methods and data base is established by applying epidemiologic methods. Descriptive statistics and Kruskal-Wallis are used for statistic purpose, and the regularity of syndrome is summed up as well as the relationship of syndromes with age, gender, disease course, Hp (Helicobactor Pylori) infection, gastroscopic presentation and pathological manifestations. Results:Among gathered 333 cases,135 are male, while 198 are female. The age ranges from 15 to 84 years old, mean age is 52.216±12.038 years old. A prevalence higher in women than men, middle-aged people is the largest number of sick. Patients with occupational distribution office worker, followed by retirees, farmers, workers, the unemployed, cadres and students. The highest prevalence ratio of secondary school, followed by university education, primary school, illiteracy and college.3 months-1 year in most patients with disease course. Improper diet and bad mood are the main incentives. The syndromes can be categorized into 5 patterns:the deficiency of the spleen-stomach type(48.05%), disharmony between liver and stomach type(28.03%), asthenic yin of stomach type(13.21%), damp-heat accumulated in the spleen-stomach type(8.71%), blood stasis in stomach type(1.2%). The syndromes of CEG have a bearing on age and disease course. Among these, disharmony between liver and stomach type, the deficiency of the spleen-stomach type are most commonly seen in youngsters and middle-aged people; while the deficiency of the spleen-stomach type, asthenic yin of stomach type are most commonly seen in elderly. The course of disharmony between liver and stomach type, damp-heat accumulated in the spleen-stomach type is more shorter than other types. Conclusion:CEG generally manifest with the deficiency of the spleen-stomach type, disharmony between liver and stomach type is also often seen. Age and disease course have connection with syndrome distribution, while gender, Hp infection, complications, gastroscopic presentation and pathological manifestations are not.
