| Purpose:To systematically review the existing clinical evidence of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine's treatment for endometriosis and to provide the best available evidence for clinical decision—aking and for prioritizing further research areas on the therapy with kidney and promoting blood circulation for endometriosis.Method:Use the method of evidence-based medicine to fully search literatures of all the traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine's treatment for endometriosis. All the research literature of all the traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine's treatment for endometriosis, randomized controlled trials (RCTs), half RCTs or called RCTs are included. The qualities of included studies such as randomization, blinding, allocation conceal and loss of follow up are evaluated. Use RevMan 4.2 software to perform statistical analysis or descriptive analysis.Result:Eighteen RCTs involving 1493 patients are included. Because of different-therapies in the control groups, after heterogeneity analysis, the results are described. Most of included studies suggested that traditional Chinese medicine's treatment for endometriosis is more effective than Western medicine on general effect, dysmenorrheal improvement, menstrual disorder treatment.There are significances in statistics(P<0.05).Conclusion:The bester treatment of endometriosis is Chinese and Western Integrative Medicine and by enema traditional medicine, at the same time, has fewer side effects than western medicine. However, because of inadequate in number of researches, low quality, this research has its deficiency. I expect there will be much more RCTs with high quality to confirm the conclusion of this research. |
