Suaeda salsa are Chenopodiaceae, annual herb, generally born in Beach, at the salt desert wasteland, saline is a typical indicator plants. Studies have shown that salsa methylated extract products on significantly inhibited acute inflammation, the separation of seedlings extract on the body also has enhanced the role of non-specific immune function. Modern medical study found that seeds of S. salsa plants growth and development of oil rich in essential fatty acids, linoleic acid and linolenic acid, without the high saturated fatty acid content, with glucose, blood pressure, dilation of blood vessels, prevent heart disease and enhance the human immune system and other medicinal efficacy for the prevention of cardiovascular diseases, the elderly, hypertension patients and healthy people good health edible oil. Salsa in China's major growth in Xinjiang, Meng, Gan, Shan, Lu, Jin, Liao and other provinces.Species of a total of salsa and a variety of 20 species, common species are Suaeda glanca bunge and S. salsa L. Pall, which yield the highest Suaeda glanca bunge. And S. salsa is of Jiangsu coastal line, the junction of the embroidery needle from the mouth of Sulu to the Yangtze Delta Plain, 1 000 km of the coast to check the dominant species in sediment. The current study of Suaeda species mainly concentrated in the Suaeda glanca bunge, S. salsa L. Pall and Suaeda heteroptera Kitagawa .In this paper, collected in different longitude and latitude of 12 batches of Dongying S. salsa samples studied, use HPLC technology, through the optimization of chromatographic conditions and system suitability test, the establishment of the HPLC Suaeda salsa fingerprints, and the first established Suaeda salsa herbs reference fingerprint, fingerprint contains 16 peaks. Further conducted fingerprint analysis and system suitability test, the fingerprint of indicators in line with the technical specifications. At the same time, were established by reference fingerprint S. salsa applied research, the findings confirm that the established reference fingerprint of S. salsa can be used to identify the authenticity of medicines.A gorgonian, also known as sea whip or sea fan, is a sessile animal of the Subclass Alcyonaria, Class Anthozoa, Phylum Coelenterata found throughout the oceans of the world, especially in the tropics and subtropics from inter-tidal to as deep as 4,000 meters. There are 45 species from seven families of gorgonians in China, mainly located in Hainan, Guangdong, Zhejiang and Taiwan coast. Subergorgia Widely distributed in Tropical and subtropical of India– Pacific, until now, only four species are found in the South China Sea: S. reticulata, S.kollikeri, S.ornata, S.suberosa. Studies in the past half century showed that a variety of novel and bioactive chemical constituents were gained from the gorgonian. The gorgonian Subergorgia reticulata were collected from the coast of Sanya, the South of China, in August, 2007. Literature search confirmed gorgonians Subergorgia reticulata contains elements of anti-tumor activity, so this paper systematically investigated on the chemical constituents and biological activities of the gorgonian Subergorgia reticulata.Isolation and structure determination: Monitoring by bioassay-guided isolation, the MeOH extract of the gorgonian Subergorgia reticulata was chromatographed on silica gel, TLC and Sephadex LH-20, and semi-preparative HPLC, respectively, then thirty-eight compounds were isolated and purified from the gorgonian Subergorgia reticulata. Thirty-one compounds were identified on the basis of spectral methods (1D-NMR, 2D-NMR, MS, IR, etc.) and their physicochemical properties. Among them, there were three new natural products (1~3). These compounds were structurally elucidated as twenty three Sterols, namely, New natural product one(1), New natural product two(2), New natural product three(3), (3S, 16S, 20R, 22R, 24S)- 6, 24 : 20, 24 - Diepoxycholest - 5 - ene - 3, 22, 25 - trial 3, 22 - Diacetate(4), (3S, 16S, 20R, 22R, 24S) - 16, 24 : 20, 24 - Diepoxycholest - 5 - ene - 3, 22, 25 - triol 3 - Acetate(5), (3S, 16S, 20R, 22R, 24S) - 16, 24 : 20, 24 - diepoxycholest - 5 - ene - 3, 22, 25 - triol 3 - Acetat(e6), 3, 22, 25 - trihydroxy - 16, 24 : 20, 24 - bisepoxy - 3β, 16β, 20S, 22R, 24S - cholest - 5 - ene(7), (3β, 5α, 6β) - 6 - methoxyergosta - 7 - ene - 3, 5 - dio(l8), (22E, 24R) - 24 - Methylcholesta - 5, 22 - diene - 3β, 7β- dio(l9), (3β, 5α, 6β) - 6 - methoxycholest - 7 - ene - 3, 5 - diol (10), (3β, 5α, 6β, 22E) - 6 - methoxycholest - 7, 22 - diene - 3, 5 - diol(11), (3β, 5α, 6β, 22E) - 6 - methoxyergosta - 7, 22 - diene - 3, 5 - dio(l12), (22E, 24R) - 24 - Methylcholesta - 5, 22 - diene - 3β, 7α- diol(13), (22E) - dehydrocholesterol(14), 24 - Methylene cholesterol(15), 24α- methylcholesta - 5, 22 - dienol(16), cholesterol(17), isofucostero(l18), (22E, 24S) - 24 - Methyl - 5α- cholesta - 7, 22 - diene - 3β, 5α, 6β– triol (19), 5α- cholest - 7 - ene - 3β, 5, 6β- triol(20), (22E) - 5α- cholesta - 7, 22 - diene - 3β, 5, 6β- trio(l21), (22E, 24R) - 24 - ethyl - 5α- cholesta - 7, 22 - diene - 3β, 5α, 6β- trio(l22), (24S) - 24 - Methyl - 5α- cholest - 7 - ene - 3β, 5α, 6β- trio(l23); and two miazines, namely, uracil (24), thymine (25); and three nucleosides, namely, 2'- deoxyuridine (26), thymidine (27), 2'- deoxythymidine (28); and one caffeine (29), and one Ceramide compound, namely, (E) - N - 2 (1, 3 - dihydroxy - 4 - octadecene-yl) - amide sixteen (30), and one Benzoyl derivatives, namely, Dibutyl phthalate (31).Biological activities:Select P388 (murine leukemia cell), Hela (human cervical carcinoma cells) and K562 (Human leukemia cellsl) of three tumor cell lines, using MTT method and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) method for most single compounds in the vitro antitumor activity of a preliminary evaluation. The results showed that compound 4, compound 6 and compound 12 at a concentration of 100μg/ml showed some degree of antitumor activity to the Hela and P388 tumor cells.
